Woolly Mammoth Ivory and Silver Ring w/ Gold Nugget Bezel
A ring 40,000 years in the making. Tan mammoth tusk discovered at The Boneyard Alaska as the centerpiece with a raw gold nugget bezel, connecting our recent Earth history to life in the cosmos with natural gold predating our solar system.
This ring is a collaboration with Kristin Reeves Park, my aunt. She shapes and creates the cabochon with shards of tusk discovered at the Boneyard while I fashion it into jewelry. As my family often says while we work in Alaska in the summers, “Teamwork makes the dreamwork”.
*Size 8 cannot be resized*
materials: sterling silver ring, woolly mammoth tusk cabochon, raw Alaskan gold nugget and silver bezel
certificate of authenticity included
