Mixed Metal Mammoth Pendant w/ Raw Gold Inlay
A necklace 40,000 years in the making. Caramel toned mammoth tusk swirls with blue remnants of vivianite inlayed with raw Alaskan gold. Ancient mammoth tusk discovered at The Boneyard Alaska as the centerpiece with a crown of natural Alaskan gold nuggets set in sterling silver with a 14k gold bail and 14k gold piping.
This pendant is a collaboration with Kristin Reeves Park, my aunt. She shapes and creates the cabochon with broken shards of ancient mammoth tusk discovered at the Boneyard while I fashion it into jewelry. As my family often says while we work in Alaska in the summers, “Teamwork makes the dreamwork”.
*complimentary 24” sterling silver or gold fill chain included, please specify at checkout which you’d prefer*
materials: sterling silver bezel and backplate, 14k gold bail and piping, woolly mammoth tusk cabochon, raw Alaskan gold nuggets
certificate of authenticity included
please note there are two pendants available in this style with slight variations as no two mammoth tusks shards or gold nuggets are the same
